Fiji Bicolor Foxface Care Facts

There are no key facts available for this product.

The Bicolor Foxface is one of the most unique rabbitfish.  Most of the front portion of its body is a dark, blackish-brown with the more common black and white facial markings, while the latter half of the Bicolor Foxface is yellow.  The Bicolor Foxface is an active swimmer and requires larger aquarium.  Generally peaceful, the Bicolor Foxface can be housed with aggressive or peaceful fish, but is known to become aggressive themselves when housed with other rabbitfish.  The Bicolor Foxface protects itself with its venomous dorsal spines it raises when threatened.  Typically the Bicolor Foxface is reef safe as long as it is well fed, but be cautious housing these fish with coral as they have been known to nip at and eat soft coral, LPS, and even SPS.  As an herbivore, the Bicolor Foxface should be offered a variety of algae and fresh vegetables.
