I had one in my other tank so had to get another one for this tank. They have a great personality and very friendly with all species I have. I like how they burrow themselves in the rock with just their head showing. They definitely come out when it’s time to eat.

Mine likes to hide in the rocks most of the time. I have to leave the room after feeding them so it comes out and eats. Not an issue. It’s just what it does.
