The Brain Prism Coral (Goniastrea australensis) is also known as the Honeycomb Brain Coral due to its distinct honeycomb pattern. They come in a large variety of colors, with mouths, mantles and polyps each differing in color. The Honeycomb Brain Coral should be kept in an aquarium with moderate lighting and medium waterflow. It is important to place them far enough away from neighbors so their tentacles do not harm any other organisms. Like many other corals, they will take a supplemental feeding of brine or mysis shrimp one or two times per week.
