These tiny fish thrive in a well-established tank with plenty of live rock and hiding spots. Despite their size, they have big appetites, primarily feeding on small crustaceans, copepods, and planktonic organisms. To ensure their health and vibrancy, offer a varied diet including high-quality flake food, frozen foods like brine shrimp and mysis shrimp, and occasional live foods. Maintain stable water parameters, with a temperature range of 74-78°F (23-26°C), pH of 8.1-8.4, and moderate water flow. Regular water changes are crucial to keep ammonia and nitrite levels in check. Given their small size and peaceful demeanor, they can coexist with other small, non-aggressive tankmates, making them an excellent choice for a nano reef or community aquarium.
