The Sea Hare (Aplysia sp.) have a white speckled body, typically with tan or brown undertones. They are herbivorous, feeding on algae and other marine plants. They are capable of releasing toxins when threatened, but have few predators in nature. They can reach sizes up to 12 inches in captivity, and they should be kept in an aquarium of at least 50 gallons with plenty of plants to feed upon and peaceful fish.
