The Splendid Dottyback, Manonichthys splendens, also known as the Splendid Pseudochromis and the Manonichthys Splendens, lives up to its name with is sleek blue body and yellow/white freckles. It has a attractive yellow tail and a beautiful blue trimming on its caudal and dorsal fins. Like most Pseudochromis species, the Splendid Dottyback will be territorial with its claimed territory - especially with similar looking fish. If multiple Splendid Dottybacks are desired, they must be introduced to the tank at the same time. Tanks should be rife with liverock and also have a tightly sealed lid to prevent escapes. The Splendid Dottyback eats a carnivorous diet and may pick at small shrimp so be cautioned.

The first Splendid Dottyback arrived DOA but they refunded me quickly and the second one arrived and I could not be happier. Grateful for the good service and the speed they replaced the DOA.
